Payment can also be made by direct debit method, which electronically debits your checking or savings account ion the 15th of the month the payment is due. CLICK HERE FOR FORM in MS Word (Please note that this form can be filled out and printed on your computer but must include your signature)
You will be billed based on your ACTUAL WATER USAGE provided by Aqua New Jersey for that quarter. The first quarter (January 1st – March 31st) and 4th Quarter (October 1st - December 31st) will be billed based on your actual water usage for each of those quarters. The 2nd quarter (April 1st – June 30th) will be billed based on your average usage for the 4th & 1st quarters. EXAMPLE: If your water usage for 4th quarter was 14,000 gallons and your water usage for the 1st quarter was 16,000, then your 2nd & 3rd quarter bills will be based on that average which would be 15,000 gallons. You would be billed $70 for the first 10,000 gallons and $5.25 for each 1,000 gallons above 10,000 gallons which would be 5 x $5.25 ($26.25) for a total due of $96.25 for the second quarter. The same billing will also happen for the 3rd quarter (July 1st – September 30th). Your 2nd and 3rd quarter billing will be the same amount. We are using this method to avoid the high spring and summer month water usage associated with lawn irrigation and pools.
1st quarter bill goes out mid April and due no later than May 31st.
2nd quarter bill goes out July 1st and due no later than July 31st.
3rd quarter bill goes out October 1st and due no later than October 31st.
4th quarter bill goes out mid January and due no later than February 28th.
