Please be advised - The placement of any patio, regardless of design, counts against the impervious allotment of your site. The height of the fence cannot exceed more than 6 feet in rear yards, and if the location for the fence is in a rear yard with an alley, it must be placed ten feet from the curb. In addition, the changing of grading where it may affect water runoff to install a patio of any other structure is not allowed. The placement of any fence on top of a patio which causes the fence to exceed the allowable 6 foot height is not allowed. Trees, hedges, and plantings are not allowed in the Right of Way in the rear alleys and lanes and cannot exceed more than 4 foot in height.
