For the convenience of our residents, Chesterfield Township operates an Electronics Recycling Drop-off for (Computers, TVs and Various Other Electronic Equipment)
The drop-off location is at the Township Recycling Center, at Public Works Facility, 300 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road.
The Drop-off is open: Tuesday & Thursday 7:30AM to 7:30PM, Saturday & Sunday 8:00AM to 3:00PM
Every-other-week, a free curbside recycling program operated by Burlington County provides free curbside collection of designated recyclable materials. All recyclables must be placed in the township-provided wheeled toters and left curbside by 6:00 a.m. on pick-up days.
Motor oil recycling is discontinued at the township facility. Fortunately, motor oil recycling is available at most service stations and automotive parts supply chains. Though the township would like to bring back motor oil recycling at some point, the costs of disposal have increased exponentially. In addition, collection companies are citing contamination of oil as a major issue facing most municipal collection sites.
For Chesterfield Township Residents only, tree branches, brush and leaves can be disposed of in clearly marked areas at the Recycling Center at the Public Works Facility, 300 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road. Please - No Contractors or Businesses.
Hours of the Drop-off Are As Follows:
Tuesday & Thursday 7:30AM to 7:30PM
Saturday, & Sunday 8:00AM to 3:00PM
In addition to new hours of operation, the township continues to examine accepting a variety of recyclable materials that are generally acceptable at a municipal residential recycling center.
More information about this will be posted when it becomes available.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we work toward an expanded level of service at the facility.
Recycling is the Law. Residents, tenants, landlords, businesses and schools Must recycle.
